Once your order is placed and you send your photograph, I will process it and burn it into a slice of basswood. The finished product measures roughly 12"x9", though size may vary based on the wood cut. Wood slices are .5" to .7" thick.
I use natural hardwood, which may contain hidden blemishes that appear during the burning process. I avoid these as much as possible in the cuts I select. Wood grain and ring patterns are also a natural byproduct of this wood and add to the rustic look of the product!
Please choose photographs that have some space surrounding the subject, and avoid close-cropped images in which the subject completely fills the frame. I can add captions or notes as well, to the front and/or back of the cut.
